We will start class today by finishing our conversation on the Cabinet and the breadth of the Executive Branch.
Next, we will turn our focus to the Presidency by considering our essential question: Who can become President?
We will be using this handout.
We will start by reviewing the text of Article II Section 1 that focuses on qualifications to become President.
Next we will discuss other, informal requirements to become President. Students who miss will have to reference pg 215-217 of their textbook.
You will then have an opportunity to determine what kind of Presidential candidates you would support and compare that to your classmates by completing this Presidential Survey Mark the data down on your handout and respond to the questions on the back side of your handout.
We will close by responding to the essential question in the last box of the handout.
